Hello everyone, my name is Sun Sun and I am very happy to be back for the
3rd time at the Peace Camp. I was born in Singapore but have been living in
Vienna now for the last ten years. My man and my son are Austrians and I am
Singaporean. As far as "home" is concern, I am not sure where it is.
Although things happened to me in Vienna that made me feel wish that I've
never set foot on this country, but at the same time, I miss this city when
I am away, homesick for Vienna......even when I was in Singapore. So, what
to do? Let us talk about it at peacecamp....

Walter Wehmeyer
Hello, my name is Walter Wehmeyer and I'm a filmmaker living in Vienna. I'm very happy to spend the peacecamp with you all and make a documentary, in addition to Geralds' project. 7 years ago I filmed already the first peacecamp that took place in Austria, and if you are interested you can even look at the film on YouTube. The title is "Middle East - Trauma and Hopes of the Young". It is 1 hour long and you will need some patience to see it. During the years things have changed and each peacecamp is different and completely unique. This year, some weeks after the peacecamp I'm planning to come to Israel and Palestine and interview about 2 participants of the peacecamp of
2004 and some peace activists. It will be a long film of about 90 min.
I'm an independent filmmaker - so looking for the funds is a quite difficult task. But the times of filming and editing are very fulfilling because you you meet people, make friends and you can work with your team to make a beautiful movie. I was born in Aachen, Germany but now I live in Vienna together with my wife Christina. She is an opera-singer and singing teacher. I like to read novels and dramas, cafés, theatre, hiking and inviting friends for dinner.
Looking forward to meet you all!!!
